Contents:

This course is designed to assist students in creating successful applications to gain admittance to the top colleges in the United States. Through personalized advice and in-depth consultations from experienced writing tutors, students will create a minimum of ten essays that are tailored for specific colleges.

Contents:

This course is aimed towards achieving higher ACT English scores. Intensive instruction will be given in major English language concepts (grammar, idiom use, diction, sentence structure, paragraph structure, rhetorical expressions, and revisions). This 6 week course will have weekly in-class quizzes to test grammatical skills.

Summer Intensive ACT Camp for 9-12th Grade

Students:

6/8 – 6/26 ; 7/6 – 7/24 M-F 10:00 am – 2:30 pm

No class 6/29 – 7/5

Tuition:

$2500.00 (including 6 ACT practice Tests)

Contents:

The camp will focus on the all sections of the ACT with particular emphasis on the following skills: writing (critical thinking and rhetorical skills), reading (analytical reading and comprehension), algebra/geometry (advanced concepts and word problems), and English grammar (punctuation and grammar rules).

-English Writing: Critical thinking, rhetorical skills, and logical structure of essays. Workshop style, in-class discussion setting, and hands-on practice.

-English Reading: Analytical reading and practice with ACT style reading questions.

-Algebra/Geometry: Algebra/geometry concepts and related practice problems for solving equations.

-Word Problems: Train students in solving word problems from Algebra and Geometry concepts according to recent trends of increasing word problems in ACT.

-Science Reasoning: Intensive class on interpretation of scientific chart, graph, and scientific passages. Only for ACT Camp.
